A late first half red card to Quakes II gave the Twosies an advantage, but one they failed to capitalize on.

Ahead of MNUFC2's first match in a few weeks we spoke to Twos head coach Fanendo Adi to get a deeper look at the club and his move to head coach. Adi said that his development with Minnesota United, first as a player, then assistant coach, and now second team head coach has been fantastic because he has the fundamentals of how, why, and when certain aspects happen.

"Eric and Dennis were very very good letting us in, trying to help us plan what goes into Monday session, Tuesday, Wednesday, why are we taking Thursday off?"

Adi said the most important thing that he has learned in his time coaching at MNUFC was adaptability and how the team has to be adaptable with having their first 6 games on the road this season. The win against Austin FC II gave the team a huge confidence boost. Adi also mentioned the challenges against Kansas City II and the heavy winds experienced there.

"It was, I'm sorry it was tough, even for the coaches just siting there the wind. So for us to deal with the situation and come out with points was a big one for me."
