Forward Madison has had an amazing season and are virtually guaranteed a playoff spot this fall. Six matches unbeaten after last week and just one loss in their last 16 played, the 'Mingos already have more wins than any other year. They've also already exceeded their previous top points totals and the season isn't over yet. Two points out of first place in USL League One, the Flamingos are gunning for the USL1 shield and top spot in the playoffs.

Foward Madison 1 – 1 One Knoxville
Opening the two match week at Breese Stevens Field in Madison, the 'Mingos didn't manage a win but still took points. Dominating the match in almost every aspect from possession to shots to touches in the box was great. But none of it helped Madison last Wednesday in the Isthmus City. Knoxville struck the back of goal first in the 73rd minute and for a bit it looked like they would knock off the hosts. But an 89th minute own goal finally got Madison on the board for the second and only other goal of the night.
Foward Madison 2 – 0 Corpus Christi FC
After a disappointing draw a few days prior, Madison went down to Texas for a showdown with the Sharks. In similar fashion to their home match the 'Mingos struggled to get on the board. It took until just past the 60th minute mark for the visitors to score, but Madison was able to get on the board first thanks to Claudel N’goubou. Barely five minutes later Ryan Carmichael stepped up to the penalty spot following a foul in the box by Corpus Christi's Jack Keaney. Carmichael hit the back of goal and doubled the lead for Madison, which they held for the final 20+ minutes to score another win on the season.

Foward Madison vs Sarasota Paradise- Saturday at 5pm
Madison comes back home this weekend for an evening matchup against the Sarasota Paradise. While Madison are in the top three of the league fighting for a shield spot, Paradise are in the opposite situation. Sarasota are in 12th place and seven points back of the final playoff spot. In the last (and only) outing between the clubs Madison took a 3–1 win in Sarasota back in May.
