One last training session before MNUFC takes the pitch on Saturday against Orlando City. Quite a few changes for the Loons have happened since we were in Blaine on Tuesday morning. One player in, one player out on loan, a few contract re-signings.

Earlier in the week defenders Morris Duggan & Jefferson Díaz signed extensions with the club. Duggan's extension takes him through the 2029/30 season with a club option for 2030/31, while Díaz's is through 2030/31 with a club option for 2031/32. Loons manager Cameron Knowles was happy about the extensions saying they were "well deserved" by the players.
Midfielder Dominik Fitz was loaned out to Austrian side Wolfsberger AC for the 2026/27 European season. During the pre-match press conference Knowles noted that Fitz had been looking to go on loan to gain minutes elsewhere. WAC does have the ability to purchase Fitz following the end of the loan, but at the least the club is hoping the loan helps Fitz, who has struggled since joining the Loons.
New acquisition Maurice Malone has finished medicals and joined the club for full training today. It is extremely unlikely the Austrian will be selected for tomorrows match, but he will be available for selection next weekend in Portland. Malone comes to the Loons from Austrian top flight side Sturm Graz.
Peter Stroud and Bongi Hlongwane remain out for this weekend, but the remainder of the club is healthy with no injuries or knocks sustained in training this week. You can watch Knowles full presser below on our YouTube Channel.
