Tuesday's training session in Blaine was a regen session for the club as the players warm back up for the rest of the week. Coming off another win and six straight matches unbeaten the mood around the ground was a happy one. That was in contrast to the overcast skies at the National Sports Center and the rain that hit almost as soon as interviews ended.
Players were split into three groups, with much of the starters spending most of the session indoors as they recuperate from Sunday's match. The remainder of the players were somewhat split into first and second team groups, as a few MNUFC2 players have trained with the first team following the end of their season.
Loons goalkeeper Kayne Rizvanovich was a late scratch ahead of last weekends match in Los Angeles, CA. On the injury report it was noted that Rizvanovich was under concussion protocol. Knowles clarified today that he suffered a knock "similar to [Wil] Trapp" and is still under concussion protocol today. We will check back in about the young keeper later this week.
