PPL Everyday: Feat. Chill n The Peg

With no playoffs in this inaugural season of the Prairies Premier League, basically everyone apart from Forza Academy still could lift a divisional trophy.

Thunder Bay Chill 3-1 Lucania FC

In the gathering blue gloom, Chill and Lucania lacked a finishing touch despite solid periods of possession for both. Lucania captain Sydney Arnold broke the deadlock in the 45th minute after a scramble from her corner saw the ball trickle in.

The Manitoban lead would stretch through half time and into the 75th minute, when Imogene Joseph (Southern Illinois - Edwardsville) finished off a pass from Hannah Keesic (Lakehead). Keesic would then turn scorer just four minutes later, as Lucania goalkeeper Cassidy Fedorak dropped the ball into her own net.

Ella Favot made it 3-1 on a solo counter attack in stoppage time.

Standings

The standings on the men's side are a mess in terms of games played, almost to the extent that ppg might be useful (sorry, not sorry) but worth a look. More consistency in the women's division. No playoffs in this inaugural season of the Prairies Premier League, so basically everyone apart from Forza Academy still could lift a divisional trophy.
