Max Ludwig halved the deficit with a piledriver from 30 yards out which went through the Risers goalkeeper and in.
After the break, Muskegon made it 3–1 with a header by Nicola Petrovic off a left wing corner and the last goal of the game was a header at the back post by Chava Nunez following a free kick belted into the area from 40 yards out.
