We're one day out from Minnesota United's return to the pitch following the international break and it's almost time for the most congested part of the season to hit. And just like the weather outside in Blaine the prognosis for the Loons was a bit grey and cloudy. The players on international duty came back without injury, though a few players picked up illness during the last two weeks.

Michael Boxall and Peter Stroud are still both day to day, but will not play this weekend per manager Cameron Knowles. Both players though are making good progress on returning. Boxall was seen doing some light passing work indicating he is well on the road to returning to the squad. As first reported by Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press, Colombian superstar James Rodriguez has been sidelined with a "serious health issue" that required hospitalisation.
