For the first time in all too long Minnesota United's training wasn't boiling hot, though it was soaked with rain. From our perspective though, we would rather take the rain the heat and humidity anyday. And as any Midwestern dad would say, we needed the rain.

Before we headed out to the training ground today a small roster update came in. Goalkeeper Wessel Speel has re-signed through the end of 2027 with a club option for 2028. His contract was set to expire following the end of the 2026 season. Speel, who has been on loan with Ireland's Shelbourne FC the last two seasons loan has been loaned to Dutch second division side Almere City through the end of June 2027.
