Minnesota United returned to training in Blaine on Tuesday following a massive win over San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night. Loons Academy player Hector Cruz join the club in training on Tuesday morning. Manager Cameron Knowles said the club was one player short heading into training and that after speaking with Twos and Academy staff Cruz hard earned the training callup.

Ahead of training the club circled up and welcomed Cruz into training. Knowles praised Cruz when speaking to the media following the session. One day prior to training MLS announced that Kelvin Yeboah, Joaquín Pereyra, and Kyle Duncan all had made the MLS Team of the Matchday.
