Summit Survey: Psiŋhnáketu Wí

Thursday marked the start of Psiŋhnáketu Wí (Wild Rice Storing Moon in Dakota). There are a couple of weeks before conference play starts for the women. The men start Summit play on the 26th.

Thursday marked the start of Psiŋhnáketu Wí (Wild Rice Storing Moon in Dakota). The roaming Bison of North Dakota State University were back on home turf after a trip to California, earning Morgan Russmann the Peak Offensive Performer of the Month award.

It also marks the start of the penultimate week in the non-conference portion of the Summit League women's schedule. Florida Atlantic complete the North Dakota double header with ties in Fargo (NDSU) on Thursday and Grand Forks (North Dakota) on Saturday. With the Summit League losing a member over the offseason, the schedule was reorganized, and North Dakota State has opted not to extend their non-conference schedule, meaning that a nutty finish in Fargo is the last action for the Bison for two weeks.

Down in Tornado Alley, our match of the week is the Mayor's Cup women's rivalry between Oral Roberts Golden Eagles and the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
