Summit Survey - Men's Week 2, Women's Week 3

The non-conference slate of Summit League action continues, with the Tommies playing a Twin Cities derby.

The scrambled go-ahead goal by North Dakota State vs Prairie View A&M.

North Dakota State Bison 3–1 Prairie View A&M Panthers

After a disappointing start to the season, the Bison broke the seal on this season's W stash, with an absolute pasting of visiting HBCU Prairie View, out of the SWAC. It took the hosts 30 minutes to break through, and it was in scruffy fashion, as a cross was bundled across the line by Maddie Miller as Miller, Morgan Russmann and Gabi Garrett all crashed the net. At half time, the score was only 1-0 but the shot count was 10-0.

The visitors threatened to take a point from the game in the 57th minute after Ashanti Hall chipped a characteristically aggressive Payton Mulberry, who was way out of her goal for NDSU. It was PVAM's first shot of the game.

The Bison went back ahead three minutes later as Ava Stanchina lifted a free kick into the area and Russmann supplied the finish.

The coup de grace was provided by Ellie Sanchez for her first goal in the Green and Gold in the 78th minute, rocketing a shot off the underside of the crossbar.

The Bison in total accumulated 14 corner kicks and 22 shots, 9 on target. Prairie View A&M made 3 shots, with the only shot on target being their equalizer.
