Saturday night was a great night to be a Loons fan as MNUFC dropped FC Cincinnati 1–0 in the 2026 home opener

Facing one of the toughest teams in the East on Saturday night, MNUFC came out and shocked MLS with a 1–0 win over the Lions, becoming the first team to score on Cincy in any competition. From the supporters there was an cheery tone to the result and support behind the Wonderwall's tifo.

And while the Loons first half chances did not go the way they wanted, Kelvin Yeboah did get the job done in end. A lof of folks also angry about the levels of ice in and around the Twin Cities as well. And with this winter, who can blame them, we sure agree.
