Fan Reactions: Loons 3–3 draw with Orlando City

Minnesota United had an up and down affair on Saturday night in St. Paul. But a late goal spoiled the mood, so we take a look at how the supporters feel following the draw.

Last night in St. Paul, Minnesota United played one of the craziest matches we've seen from them this season. Down two-nil with twenty minutes to play, the Loons went on a tear scoring three goals in just five minutes to put themselves up with just over ten to play. But a stoppage time goal from Orlando spoiled the result for the home fans. Here's how the supporters reacted to the Loons almost win.

Loons snatch draw from the jaws of victory.

Without question that's exactly what happened last night. Cameron Knowles even said last night, "The response from the guys in the second half of that was exceptional. And so you are stoppage time away from seeing that one out, getting three points.:

Today was gonna be the day….but no

Honestly I think everyone in that stadium thought after that three goal spurt that it was gonna be the day for MNUFC. But after all there was no Wonderwall.

We find offense, but can’t hold on late #mnufc

Biggest struggle of the night was consistently keeping the Orlando offence in check. The Lions have a good attack, but not one that should be so good they put three goals on MNUFC.

3 goals in 4 minutes, but winless... Loony!!!

This was one of the wackiest matches I've seen in at least the past 18 months. Odd refereeing decisions, a potentially concussed goalkeeper, a probably handball in the box. Then three goals in five minutes only for a late goal to wreck the mood. Loony is the perfect word.

It was so loud, then it was quiet

Probably the loudest we've ever heard that stadium get. Three goals with basically no time to recover between each just had the sound building for each one. But the quiteness after that last goal, you could hear a pin drop.
