The Northern Sun: Week 1 of conference play in the books

NSIC Soccer finished it's first week of conference play and only three teams won both matches last week.

NSIC Soccer is officially one week and two matches into the 15 game slate of conference games. And after just one weekend, only three teams have won both matches in the conference. Minnesota State, Augustana (SD), and Minnesota-Duluth took both of their matches in the opening week. On the other hand six teams failed to win a single match, including four who lost both matches. Minot State, Minnesota-Crookston, Southwest Minnesota State, and Winona State all fell twice last weekend and with only eight teams making the playoffs, they will all need to pick up wins soon to keep playoff hopes alive.
