As the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference enters the final week of the 2026 soccer regular season there is still a lot on the line. Both regular season titles and some playoff spots are up for grabs this week in both men's and women's. St. Olaf leads men's side of the MIAC with 24 points. An Oles win on Tuesday at Gustavus would hand St. Olaf the MIAC men's regular season title and top playoff spot. On the other side of the table three teams; Augsburg (15), Macalester (13) and St. Scholastica (13) are still scrapping for final two playoff spots. The bottom four schools have eliminated from postseason contention.
Over on the women's side of the conference the other Northfield school, Carleton leads with 28 points. Right behind the Knights are St. Kate's Wildcats are in second with 25 points. Should Carleton win or draw against Gustavus, the Knights will secure the women's regular season title. Bethel and Concordia-Moorhead are battling for final women's playoff spot, with just two points separating the teams. The Cobbers need a win and Bethel loss to guarantee playoff spot. Any other result and it is almost certain the Bethel Royals make the MIAC playoffs.
