Wrapping up the non-conference slate was a battle between the Big Ten and Mountain West as the Gophers hosted the Colorado College Tigers on Sunday afternoon in St. Paul. Starting as a back and forth affair before heading to the break at 2–0 in favour of the Gophers. The second half started the same, but ended in a 5–0 win for the Gophers to close out non-conference play.
With a full week between matches head coach Erin Chastain made just a single change to the starting eleven. Katelyn Rigg was started with Ellen Neuharth available from the bench. On the other hand Colorado College had a match just a few days prior in South Dakota, but in similar fashion retained much of their lineup. Head Coach Keri Sanchez also made just one change with Taylor Mentink getting the start and Tyler Rose being available from the bench.
